My partner gave me his grandfather’s old Olympus point and shoot film camera in November 2023. There is a lot I don’t know about film and photography. And if I’m honest, I’m not doing any work to learn more. I may still not really know how to load my new roll without losing at least one photo to the light. But what I do know is, I savor the moment I get my roll of film back and look through the images I captured. The feelings that are evoked through this means of photography deeply resonates with me. Here are some of the photos I feel most proud of. I’m hoping down the line, I can cultivate collections. But right now, here are all of them in one gallery since I don’t have that much material.
